All winners of Basketball World Cup

The World Basketball Championship (official name: FIBA World Championship) is the world's biggest basketball competition, along with the Olympic Games, for state selections.

The first edition was in 1950, and like most of the world's, it is disputed every 4 years.

The championship suffered a major change, since NBA players began to participate since 1994, since they did not participate until then. Equally, it was a time of many geopolitical changes, such as the separation of great powers from the basketball like Yugoslavia or the Soviet Union in new states.
